Makerere University (Mak) is Uganda's largest and oldest institution of higher learning and the oldest currently active university in East Africa. Makerere University is a collaborating partner in the Visibilize4ClimateAction Research Project through the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (CAES). CAES’ Mission is to advance training, knowledge generation, and service delivery to enhance agricultural development, sustainable natural resource utilization, and Environmental management. Makerere is a collaborator in the project contributing to work on establishing the impact of climate change on nutrition and policy engagement.

Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) is a Public University located in Morogoro Region, Tanzania. The fundamental elements of the University's mission are teaching, research, and consultancy. Its ultimate goal is to pursue standards of excellence in teaching, research, and community service for the betterment of society. Mekelle University is a collaborating partner in the Visibilize4ClimateAction Research Project through the Institute of Climate and Society (ICS). The ICS endeavors to be a forefront and center of excellence for training and research on climate and climate applications in Ethiopia and Africa drawing on the superb educational and research facilities in order to generate leading, policy-relevant research on climate change and its effects on the environment. Mekelle is a collaborator in the project contributing to work on establishing the impact of climate change on nutrition and policy engagement.
